U.S. Mission to Belgium

The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Mission to NATO announces an open competition to implement a program that strengthens transatlantic security by advancing understanding of NATO’s role in collective defense and defense industrial cooperation. Through the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program, the Office of the Public Affairs Advisor will support initiatives that connect U.S. and Allied stakeholders, build expertise, and foster collaboration across defense, policy, and innovation. Programs will target policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, and emerging leaders across NATO Allies and partner countries. Activities may include workshops, exchanges, research, and digital engagement focused on defense investment, industrial capacity, and the integration of emerging technologies. Eligible recipients include not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, and other entities capable of implementing public diplomacy programs with a clear U.S. component. Department of Homeland Security - FEMA

<p>The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Grants Programs Directorate is responsible for the implementation and administration of the Fire Prevention and Safety (FP&amp;S) Grant Program.&nbsp;The purpose of the FP&amp;S Program is to enhance the safety of the public and firefighters with respect to fire and fire-related hazards. The FP&amp;S Program offers grants to support activities in two categories: (1) activities designed to reach high-risk target groups and mitigate incidences of death and injuries caused by fire and fire-related hazards ("Fire Prevention and Safety Activity") and (2) research and development activities aimed at improving firefighter safety ("Firefighter Safety Research and Development Activity").&nbsp;The program guidance document provides potential applicants with the details of the requirements, processing, and evaluation of an application for financial assistance for both of these activity areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

National Park Service

The goal of the Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Subgrants Program is to fund subgrant programs that support the rehabilitation of historic properties to foster economic development in rural communities. These subgrant programs, managed by States, Tribes, Certified Local Governments, special district governments, and non-profits will select, fund, and manage preservation projects for historic properties to include architectural/engineering services and physical preservation.

Department of Homeland Security - FEMA

<p>The Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) grant program makes federal funds available to states, U.S. territories, federally recognized tribal governments,, and local governments for hazard mitigation activities. It does so by recognizing the need to upgrade and modernize the nation’s infrastructure against the growing risks to communities and the need for natural hazard risk mitigation activities that promote resilience with respect to natural hazards.</p><p><br></p><p>Certain awards made under this funding opportunity may be funded, in whole or in part, by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). The IIJA appropriates billions of dollars to FEMA to promote resilient infrastructure, respond to the impacts of natural weather disasters, and equip our nation with the resources to combat its most pressing natural hazard threats.</p><p><br></p><p>BRIC aims to shift the focus of federal investments away from reactive post-disaster spending towards proactive infrastructure-focused hazard mitigation. For this funding opportunity, the program prioritizes investment in infrastructure and construction projects that deliver immediate, measurable risk reduction to communities vulnerable to natural hazards. U.S. Dept. of Treasury RESTORE Act Program

<p>Treasury is publishing multiple funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) for its RESTORE Act grant programs. This announcement applies only to the Direct Component and is only for applications for eligible construction and real property acquisition activities, including environmental restoration projects and including projects with or without a non-federal cost-share for another federally funded project or program. To apply for eligible activities that do not involve any construction, land acquisition, or environmental restoration, applicants should use the non-construction funding opportunity announcement (GR-RDC-25-002). All construction and real property acquisition activities, and any activity that requires a permit from a federal or state agency, including natural resource restoration projects, should be submitted under this construction and real property acquisition funding opportunity announcement. Trust Fund amounts are available to carry out eligible activities described in the RESTORE Act and Treasury’s implementing regulations at 31 CFR 34.201. These are: 1) Restoration and protection of the natural resources, ecosystems, fisheries, marine and wildlife habitats, beaches and coastal wetlands of the Gulf Coast region. 2) Mitigation of damage to fish, wildlife, and natural resources. 3) Implementation of a Federally- approved marine, coastal, or comprehensive conservation management plan, including fisheries monitoring. 4) Workforce development and job creation. 5) Improvements to or on State parks located in coastal areas affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. 6) Infrastructure projects benefitting the economy or ecological resources, including port infrastructure. 7) Coastal flood protection and related infrastructure. 8) Promotion of tourism in the Gulf Coast region, including promotion of recreational fishing. 9) Promotion of the consumption of seafood harvested from the Gulf Coast region. 10) Planning assistance. 11) Administrative costs. Eligible activities 1 through 7 listed above must be carried out in the Gulf Coast region.</p>
