The purpose of theNative American Research Centers for Health (NARCH) program is to fund federally-recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes and tribal organizations to support health-related research, research career enhancement, and research infrastructure enhancement activities.

Administration for Children and Families - ANA

The Administration for Native Americans will be soliciting applications for the Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance - Esther Martinez Immersion program (EMI). The program funds community-based projects that ensure continuing vitality of Native languages through immersion-based instruction. Programs funded under EMI must meet the requirements for either a Native American Language Nest, or a Native American Survival School. As defined by Esther Martinez Native American Languages Preservation Act (42 U.S.C. § 2991b-3(b)(7)), Language Nests are "site-based educational programs that- (i) provide instruction and child care through the use of a Native American language for at least 5 children under the age of 7 for an average of at least 500 hours per year per student," and Native American Survival Schools are "site-based educational programs for school-age students that- (i) provide an average of at least 500 hours of instruction through the use of 1 or more Native American languages for at least 10 students for whom a Native American language survival school is their principal place of instruction."

Kinship Navigator Programs: Replication and Tribal Adaptation​​

In response to a longstanding congressional mandate (P.L. 98-619, Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1985), NIMHD invites applications from eligible institutions to establish a national coordinating center (CC) for the Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMIs) initiative. The RCMI CC will coordinate activities across funded RCMI U54 Centers, prospectively evaluate the overall RCMI program, and serve as a national resource to help these centers achieve their primary goals. The RCMI CC will be responsive to requests generated by RCMI site key personnel, NIMHD, NIH, the scientific community, and the general public.

Bureau of Justice Assistance

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OJP FY 2026 Special Attorneys Program. This program will support state, local, Tribal, and territorial prosecuting agencies to assign or hire qualified prosecutors to serve full-time or part-time (on a case-by-case basis) as Special Attorneys under the direction of the National Fraud Enforcement Division or the Criminal Division, or to serve as Special Assistant United States Attorneys (SAUSAs) within a United States Attorney’s Office. These “cross-designated” prosecutors will remain employees of their home agencies but will investigate and prosecute assigned fraud and other crimes committed by aliens within the United States (hereafter referred to as “criminal aliens”) for the duration of their appointment under this program. Cross-designated prosecutors may also be assigned cases involving drug or human trafficking committed within the United States. The National Fraud Enforcement Division, Criminal Division, and United States Attorney’s Offices will coordinate with selected prosecutor offices on a case-by-case basis to address logistics and any unique local circumstances. This grant program, authorized under Public Law 119-21, Title X, Subtitle A, Part II, Section 100055 (codified at 34 U.S.C. § 61101), is intended to strengthen investigative and prosecutorial capacity, expand intergovernmental coordination, and enhance the ability of jurisdictions to investigate and prosecute fraud and other crimes committed by aliens within the United States, as well as investigate and prosecute drug and human trafficking crimes. The program is also intended to increase the availability of cross-designated prosecutorial personnel who can pursue these matters in coordination with federal authorities and contribute to the effective enforcement of applicable criminal laws.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) provides funding to tribal courts to assess the effectiveness of and support improvements to how these courts and/or legal representation handle American Indian and Alaska Native child welfare cases. This includes cases involving family preservation, family reunification, guardianship, and adoption. The Tribal Court Improvement Program (TCIP) supports the Administration for Children and Families' (ACF) mission to foster health and well-being by providing partnership and effective delivery of human services.Through this program, ACF partners directly with tribes to strengthen tribal court systems that oversee child welfare matters, helping ensure that children are safe, families are supported, and court proceedings are timely, fair, and legally sound.

The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) will be soliciting applications for the Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance program. This program funds for projects to support assessments of the status of native languages in established communities. In addition, it funds planning, designing, restoration, and implementing of native language curriculum and education projects to support a community's language preservation goals. Native American communities include American Indian tribes (federally-recognized and non-federally recognized), Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders.

U.S. Mission to Kyrgyzstan

The U.S. Department of State's Embassy Bishkek Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement a program supporting the American Corners network in the Kyrgyz Republic the U.S. government's primary information and cultural centers. They showcase American innovation to foreign audiences and promote demand for U.S. products and services, particularly as the United States celebrates the 250th anniversary of its founding. The program will provide strategic guidance, administrative oversight, and resource support to the network of six American Corners located in Bishkek, Kant, Naryn, Karakol, Manas, and Osh serving approximately 200,000 visitors annually. Activities will enhance English language capacity through conversation clubs and educational resources; promote STEM excellence through hands-on workshops and mobile makerspaces; foster cultural exchange through speaker programs and events celebrating the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence; and maintain free, open, and reliable internet connectivity and upgraded facilities to serve as premier platforms for Embassy-driven campaigns. Target participants include emerging voices aged 14-30 (university students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and educators), students aged 12-18 in rural areas with limited access to educational resources, and established opinion leaders and teachers who can multiply impact. Kamkor Center initiatives demonstrate American leadership in accessibility through the the Americans with Disabilities Act and promote increased access to information and public spaces by providing tailored resources and programs about the United States to the Kyrgyz public, including people with disabilities. By focusing on these priorities, this program will create long-term partnership opportunities with educational institutions and foster deeper U.S.-Kyrgyz ties in high-growth sectors. The program will increase engagement with world-leading American educational resources and technological platforms while promoting American values of free speech and innovation. By promoting increased knowledge of American society, culture, and educational and professional opportunities, the program will ensure the United States remains the partner of choice for educational exchange, cultural engagement, and technological innovation in the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the implementation and rigorous evaluation of existing Kinship Navigator Programs (KNPs). The goal is to increase the number of programs that qualify for federal Title IV-E Kinship Navigator funding by building strong evidence of improved outcomes for kinship caregivers and the children in their care. Strengthening the evidence base will position more programs for review by the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse. This opportunity is intended for states and tribal communities that are not currently operating a Title IV-E Kinship Navigator Program.To achieve this goal, projects will focus on the following objectives: Administering KNP services, Collaborative planning, Evaluating the KNP, Complete a final evaluation report that demonstrates positive outcomes for kinship families.
