This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Services for Victims of Crime. This opportunity supports the development, expansion, and strengthening of victim service programs for all victims of crime throughout the United States and its territories. OVC invites proposals for projects to provide direct services to all victims of crime, including child and youth victims; victims of elder abuse, fraud, and exploitation; and other types of crime victims. Victim services may include, but are not limited to, emergency assistance, case management, shelter and housing, medical and dental care, victim advocacy, transportation, childcare, legal services, and employment assistance. All services proposed under this program must directly address the needs of crime victims. OVC has dedicated funding streams and grant opportunities for services for victims of human trafficking. As such, human trafficking projects are not eligible for this funding opportunity.

This opportunity supports projects that create, expand, or enhance the use of technology by victim service organizations to improve interaction with crime victims, elevate service quality, and ensure accessibility and responsiveness. This funding is not intended to support projects that— • primarily fund equipment or supply purchases without substantial technological development components. • procure existing, commercial, off-the-shelf technology solutions. • duplicate existing services or products. • include active investigation or prosecution activities. Note: Applicants may propose projects related to hotlines if the focus of the proposal is on developing an innovative technological infrastructure or expansion and not solely on operations.

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Services for Victims of Technology-Facilitated Abuse. This opportunity supports victim services to address technology-facilitated abuse (TFA). TFA includes, but is not limited to, crimes commonly referred to as image-based sexual abuse, non-consensual distribution of intimate images, sextortion, synthetic intimate images (“deepfakes”), online stalking, harassment, and abuse.

Administration for Children and Families - ORR

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) provides temporary housing and care for children who arrive in the United States alone. These are children who are under 18 years old, don't have legal permission to be in the U.S., and don't have a parent or legal guardian in the U.S. who can take care of them. ORR runs the Home Study and Post-Release Services Program to help these children. Before placing a child with a sponsor, ORR carefully checks potential homes to make sure they're safe and appropriate. After placement, ORR provides ongoing support to help children and their sponsors succeed. This support helps children adjust to living with their sponsor, connect with their community, stay safe and healthy, and navigate the immigration court process. The goal is to make sure children are placed in safe homes and have the support they need to thrive while their immigration cases move forward.

This NOFO has been modified to update language in the optional documents for bonus points, and bonus point criteria sections.As child welfare agencies increasingly use data to inform practice, targeted implementation, analytic support, and information sharing are needed to ensure the responsible use of predictive analytics. This funding opportunity supports child welfare jurisdictions in serving as demonstration sites for the effective use and future replication of predictive analytics at the national level.Grantees will focus on meeting the following objectives: Designing, implementing, and testing predictive analytics strategies, Building and sustaining agency capacity, Participating in collaboration and shared learning, Evaluating training and technical assistance activities.

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to solicit applications for pilot projects to identify new druggable targets for pain within the understudied druggable proteome. Awards will support generation of preliminary data and/or tools around eligible understudied protein(s) listed in this NOFO. This NOFO is intended to jumpstart research on understudied proteins within the context of pain and pain management and provide applicants with sufficient funding to perform basic biochemical and/or biological work to further the characterization of understudied proteins to identify new druggable targets for pain. This NOFO is part of the NIH Helping to End Addiction Long Term (HEAL) initiative to accelerate the development of novel medications to treat all aspects of the opioid addiction cycle, including progression to chronic use, withdrawal symptoms, craving, relapse, and overdose.

<p>The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to invite Small Research Grant (R21) applications that propose to study the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of human genetics and genomics. Applications may propose studies using either single or mixed methods. Direct involvement of key stakeholders where appropriate is encouraged. These applications should be for small research projects, such as those that involve single investigators. Of particular interest are projects that propose normative or conceptual analyses, including focused legal, economic, philosophical, anthropological, or historical analyses of new or emerging issues. This mechanism can also be used for the collection of preliminary data and the secondary analysis of existing data.</p>

The purpose of this initiative is to: (1) support the efforts by R15-eligible Principal Investigators (PIs) to conduct rigorous basic and/or mechanistic pain research projects; (2) promote integrated, interdisciplinary research partnerships between R15-eligible PIs and additional investigators from U.S. domestic institutions, and (3) enhance the pain research environment at the R15-eligible institution for health professional trainees or undergraduate and/or graduate students by actively engaging them in the proposed pain research projects.

This funding opportunity is part of a suite of NOFOs within the NIH HEAL Initiative to support the development of safe, effective, and non-addictive therapeutics to treat pain. The goal is to encourage initial translational efforts that will support a drug discovery program and advance projects to the point where they meet the entry criteria for the Pain Therapeutics Development Program. The scope will therefore be focused on development of assays to support a distinct testing funnel, screening efforts to identify hits, and initial characterization of hits and potential therapeutic agents (including small molecules, biologics, and natural products).
