The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity is to invite proposals for funding to establish a Women s Business Centers (WBCs) modernization and alignment initiative. This initiative will establish a Lead Center Model, supported by a network of Service Centers, to deliver coordinated, statewide or territory-wide business services. To support a more evenly distributed funding allocation by population, this competition is limited to applicants in the following states: Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virgin Islands, West Virgina, and Wyoming. Selected awardees must reside in the state in which it will serve as a Lead Center. Selected awardees will be responsible for designing and executing an integrated service delivery approach that ensures comprehensive coverage and aligns resources with the needs of the local entrepreneurs.

Department of Homeland Security - FEMA

The CAP-SSSE program provides funding to ensure adoption and enforcement of standards consistent with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) minimum criteria in participating and flood-prone communities. This cooperative agreement strives to empower states and territories to own and effectively manage their flood risk and reduce exposure, disaster costs, and recovery demands by providing planning flexibility, tools and best practices, and FEMA expertise to support implementation of their NFIP programs. This cooperative agreement funds NFIP Coordinating Agencies to conduct specific activities in support of NFIP administration and enables independent investment to build capacity and capability in line with the provisions set forth in 44 C.F.R. 60.25.

U.S. Mission to the Bahamas

The U.S. Embassy Nassau Public Diplomacy Section announces an open competition for grants to implement programs that strengthen bilateral relations and advance shared priorities between the United States and The Bahamas. Priority program areas include Freedom 250 (commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence); Business Development and Entrepreneurship; Educational and Cultural Programming; Sports Engagement; and Digital Freedom and Open Information Environments. Awards range from $5,000 to $50,000. Eligible applicants include U.S. and foreign-based non-profit organizations, public and private educational institutions, individuals, and public international organizations. Leveraging foreign assistance from the Pax Fund, this NOFO launches the Pax Silica Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistance Project a historic first-of-its-kind programmatic initiative to strengthen global AI supply chain security by creating a trusted supply chain credentialing and provenance platform to secure the AI supply chain in partner countries and economies. This NOFO seeks to fund the establishment of a Silicon Highway: a digital-physical corridor that accelerates logistics and compliance operations among partner countries with cryptographic cargo verification, AI-expedited risk assessment, and pre-approved expedited processing early in the supply chain. The Department maintains its rights of use to intangible property created under this project per 2 CFR 200.315.

Bureau of Arms Control and Nonproliferation

This effort seeks to address multiple facets of export control challenges. The first component will analyze trade data, create exemplary visualizations (e.g., dashboards), and train export control authorities to use data analysis for export control implementation. The second component will design, develop, and deploy a smartphone-accessible application for frontline officers to detect and identify export-controlled commodities. The third component will train recipients to effectively, responsively, and proactively engage regulated industry based on identified proliferation trends.
