About This Grant

Funded through the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant, the Career Pathways program links educational and occupational training to subsequent employment through educational programs. Training is combined with support services to enable eligible participants to advance both to higher levels of education and to higher wage jobs in targeted occupational sectors.

Eligibility

  • Services are provided to TANF-eligible recipients of Temporary Assistance (TA), and to individuals not in receipt of TA who meet TANF eligibility requirements including having income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. All recipients must be age 16 and older.
