About This Grant

This is a Notice of Intent only. The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to award a Cooperative Agreement to the American Center for International Labor Solidarity (Solidarity Center) for a project to address forced labor and other labor rights violations in the cotton cluster production system in Uzbekistan. The project will build collective worker voice and empowerment; foster ethical, sound business and labor practices in local cotton enterprises; and support industry compliance with international labor standards and good corporate governance.
