A "MORE PERFECT UNION": VOICES OF THE AMERICAN PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE [AS WE ENTER A PERIOD OF CELEBRATION AND COMMEMORATION AROUND THE 250TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE (MCCC) IS PLANNING A YEAR-LONG PROJECT (A "MORE PERFECT UNION": VOICES OF THE AMERICAN PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE) TO SUPPORT PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT, HISTORICAL EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING. WITH THIS PROJECT, WE WILL WORK THROUGH THE HUMANITIES TO FOSTER DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOUNDING CONCEPTS OF FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE, ILLUSTRATE THE RICHNESS OF THE AMERICAN STORY, AND PROMOTE CIVIL DISCOURSE.]
