Eligibility

  • Program is available to unemployed releasees on Community Supervision with the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) in the five boroughs of New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany. Participation requires that releasees have the ability to do physical labor on transitional worksites. Enrollment into the CEO Vocational Development Program (VDP) is a prerequisite for participation in the NWP.
