About This Grant
The purpose of this solicitation is to identify and provide funding to eligible organizations to increase the training capacity of healthcare facilities. The goal is to support healthcare facilities statewide to prepare, mentor, and train a steady pipeline of high-quality healthcare professionals. Grants are awarded to facilities licensed under Article 28 of the Public Health Law to cover costs related to increasing their healthcare workforce, including certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, physician assistants, and other direct care professionals.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be a general hospital, a diagnostic and treatment center, or a residential health care facility (nursing home) certified or licensed under Article 28 of the NYS Public Health Law.
