About This Grant

The purpose of the Healthcare Education and Life-skills Program (HELP) is to provide grant funding for healthcare facilities or institutions of higher learning to address barriers to healthcare training or degree completion and develop interventions, including wrap around support services, to eliminate those identified barriers for the targeted population.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be not-for-profit organizations that offer support to students, or trainees, pursuing careers in healthcare. Not-for-Profit organizations eligible to apply for funding may include but are not limited to: area health education centers, community based organizations, community health associations, educational institutions, general hospitals, healthcare facilities, healthcare worker unions, joint labor-management training funds and committees, long term care facilities, regional health planning organizations, regional health networks, rural health networks, trade associations, and workforce investment organizations.
