To support the Program for Leaders to Advance the Community’s Environment (PLACE) program which is designed to promote long-term appreciation and care for local environments. PLACE creates a network of young adults in college to serve as mentors to high school students and leaders in the community; together, these networks work to address a series of environmental problems in the Bronx.
