Purpose. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits grant applications proposing to conduct research into underlying biologic mechanisms involving nuclear receptors, their co-regulators and intracellular signaling systems in the process of aging and the connections of the aging process with pathophysiology in middle- and old-age.
