About This Grant
he FY19 Conservation Legacy ALCC NPS project will provide job and service opportunities for up to 70 young adults from up to 8 distinct rural, Native American communities. Critical back log maintenance projects on NPS units will be completed with the additional goal of building long term capacity, partnerships, resources, to ensure a strong workforce for the future. The project additionally will also engage up to 60 school aged children from Acoma and Zuni Pueblo with their local National Parks, to provide recreational and appropriate service opportunities, and opportunities for parks to historically connect to adjacent tribal communities.
