This is a Notice of Intent only. The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to provide funding for a Cooperative Agreement with the International Labor Organization (ILO) for a project to enhance capacity to prevent and reduce child labor and forced labor and promote decent work in Uzbekistan. This project will include: a) strengthening social partnerships for the realization of fundamental principles and rights at work, including elimination of child labor and forced labor; b) fostering decent employment opportunities that include protections against the use of child labor and forced labor; and c) improving working conditions and social protection.
