About This Grant
Interns will have the opportunity to serve in the role of a Park Guide, performing a variety of park information and outreach activities in the park setting, including trail patrols, informational talks and demonstrations, responding verbally to park visitor questions, and production of media for park safety messaging. The intern will be awarded the opportunity for first-hand learning of the operations of an interpretative program of a National Park Service. The intern will work under the supervision of the Parkway s North District Supervisory Ranger, Division of Visitor Services.
