About This Grant
The objective of this Agreement is to provide experiential outdoor experiences that promote physical and emotional health, civic engagement, and long-term appreciation for nature to children in underserved communities. These experiences will be accomplished by providing access through transportation grants, achieving relevancy through connecting children and their families to the parks, and providing in-park educational opportunities to experience nature, history and culture, learn about biodiversity and the environment, and to engage with each other in the outdoors.
