Treasury, under a delegation from the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is authorized to designate new databases for inclusion in the Do Not Pay Working System. Treasury is issuing this Notice of Proposed Designation to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed designation of the Social Security Administration's Numerical Identification System (Numident) to the Do Not Pay Working System.
