About This Grant
ACES, Artists of Color Expo & Symposium, is a BIPOC-led, community-curated program produced by Shunpike that uplifts and centers BIPOC artists. Located at The Studio 2+U and other locations in Seattle TBD. ACES provides space for artists of color to tell their stories through various mediums while leaning into the resources from community members provided at the event. In 2026, ACES will mark its 9th year of cultivating visibility, equity, and community through the arts. Building on its history of partnerships and collective leadership, ACES will continue to evolve as a dynamic platform for artists of color, celebrating their impact on Washington’s cultural and creative ecosystem. The events will be free and open to the public. The project will be completed in the summer of 2026.
