About This Grant
The 19th Annual Morgan Junction Community Festival will be held June 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Morgan Junction Park located at 6413 California Ave SW. This grant will provide funding for the entertainment at this annual festival, including a student band from West Seattle High School "The Potholes” and a local senior citizen "Bubbleman". The festival fosters community by welcoming new residents and reconnecting with neighbors through a one day fun event focused on children and young families. The festival also raises awareness of local non-profits, fosters emergency preparedness, highlights near term City of Seattle and King County upcoming elections, provides community feedback on critical issues such as Morgan Junction Park Annex design and the One Seattle Plan for Morgan Junction Urban Center. This project will be completed by July 31, 2025.
