Sister of South Seattle Community Advocacy group would like to host a series of three workshops at the Hillman City Collaboratory starting September 18, 2019. The main goal of the workshops is to open the space for the community to talk about racism, gentrification, and spirituality through an African-American lens. During the workshops people will have the opportunity to share poetry/film, and discussion, led by renowned Black poet Amir Sulaiman. Food and drinks will be provided to all. The series of workshops are free and open to the public.
