Meadowbrook Night Out NE 107th Street and Alton

On August 6, 2019 at Alton Ave NE between NE 105th Street and NE 107th Street, the Meadowbrook - Matthews Beach neighborhood group and Meadowbrook Community Council are partnering for a neighborhood potluck and community Night Out event. The potluck starts at 6:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will bring the neighborhoods together for a night of fun and community building where Emergency Preparedness and Community Safety will be discussed. This will be the 11th annual gathering. This project will be completed by September 30, 2019.

Neighborhood Night Out

Neighborhood Night Out will host an event on August 6, 2019 from 6 pm - 10 pm on 1st Ave W between W McGraw Pl and W McGraw St. The event will support crime prevention through community building.

Rainier Vista Community Building Committee

The Rainier Vista Community Building Committee is hosting a community building Night Out Event on Tuesday, August 6th, located at Central Park 4410 29th Ave S, Rainier Vista. The goal of this community building event is to bring together 500 neighbors from the Rainier Vista community, and law enforcement in a fun event to break down barriers. The event is free and open to the public.

El Centro de la Raza

El Centro de la Raza will be hosting a Night Out Concert on August 6, 2019 located at 2601 17th Ave S, at Plaza Roberto Maestas. The concert will bring together Mariachi music and Classical Orchestra and perform together in the Beacon Hill community. Music will be performed in different languages. The event will be free and open to the public.

South Lake Union Community Council

The South Lake Union Community Council will have a national night out event from 5pm to 8pm on August 7th in lieu of the monthly community council meeting to foster a sense of community within South Lake Union. SLUCC will also hold a voter registration drive at the event to increase civic mindfulness among residents. The project funds will be used to provide food and beverage for those attending, and to create a comfortable gathering space on 8th Avenue between John & Thomas streets as part of national night out.

Troll's Knoll Gardeners Summer Committee

The Troll's Knoll Gardeners Summer Committee will host a public Night Out event on August 6, 2019 from 5 pm - 9 pm at Troll's Knoll P-Patch located at 820 N 36th St. The event will promote crime prevention, urban agriculture, and community food security.

The U District Partnership

The U-District Partnership is hosting a Night out on August 6, 2019, located at 5031 University Way NE. The Night Out event is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, increase neighborhood support in anti-crime efforts, and unite the U-District community. There will be music, food, and drinks along with fun activities for all to enjoy. It is free and open to the public.

Sustainable Northeast Seattle

The Northeast Tool Library is relocating to 10228 Fischer Place NE. The move will take place on May 19-20 from 10am to 5pm. The new location will provide more opportunities for public workshops, and classes on home maintenance, and tool use. It also provides the opportunity to foster new relationships with other community organizations that serve the under-served populations in Northeast Seattle. All are welcome to help with the move and workshops and classes are free and open to the public.
