Oregon Library Association

open

About This Grant

This project will improve the teaching of information literacy skills in Oregon, both by classroom teachers and by library staff, through both an increase in knowledge about the standards and increase in understanding of how to apply the standards to teaching. It will establish a list of interdisciplinary practices that are common to both OSLIBS and CCSS, including combined standards for each grade level K-14. It will also create a searchable website that combines information literacy standards from OSLIBS, K-12 content areas (including CCSS), identifies interdisciplinary practices and creates combined standards for information literacy.
