Oregon School Library Standards Learning Objectives and Grade Level Alignment

About This Grant

OASL seeks to align the Oregon Department of Education-adopted Oregon School Library Standards to a grade level continuum of information literacy skills. Currently the standards have indicators that are not grade specific, making teaching in between grades or schools inconsistent. The project will align the standards to appropriate grades or a range of grades and create a matrix that provides clarity so the standards can be taught across Oregon in a consistent manner and are in a framework that promotes the creation of measurable outcomes.
