Project Summary/Abstract The funded parent application intent is to provide resources to the TEDDY Data Coordinating Center (DCC) to continue studies focused on the identification of environmental exposures that lead to the initiation of autoimmunity and its progression to type 1 diabetes. This request for funds for an administrative supplement will continue the DCC’s efforts towards the completion of the datasets and the analysis of the second case- control cohort (NCC2) which covers the initiation of autoimmunity and progression to type 1 diabetes among 6- 15 year old study participants. This additional support enables uninterrupted laboratory support, sample storage, and investigator small group meetings for discussion and scientific planning.
