-Purpose. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), solicits the submission of investigator-initiated research grant applications to support research investigating the epidemiology of alcohol use and alcohol use disorders and the prevention of underage drinking, alcohol use disorders, and other alcohol-related harms. -Mechanism of Support.
