Developing this model will require extensive review of data as well as interviews with park leadership, law enforcement officers, and other stakeholders. The project fulfills a public purpose as the scientific community and/or researchers external to NPS gains by new knowledge provided through research and related results dissemination of criminal justice information. The project provides student(s) the opportunity to understand and apply research theory and principles.
