Implementing the Land Bird Monitoring Protocol for the National Park Service Units of the National Capital Region Network
National Park Service
About This Grant
The Inventory and Monitoring program of the National Park Service was created to develop and implement ecological monitoring programs across 32 networks of parks throughout the US. Each network completes a 3-phase planning process where a set of physical, chemical, or biological vital signs are selected and monitoring protocols are developed. The National Capital Region I&M Network (NCRN) completed this planning process in 2005 and is presently in the implementation stage of the monitoring program.
