About This Grant

The purpose of this Agreement is to provide Federal financial assistance for the funding of a fellowship program through the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology which enables competitively selected scientist and engineers to learn first-hand about the use of science and technology in federal government decision making, policies and programs while offering valuable contributions of their knowledge and analytical skills to federal agencies. The Agreement will connect science with National Park Service policy and foster a network of science and engineering leaders who understand the National Park Service and policymaking, and are prepared to develop and execute solutions to address societal challenges.
