About This Grant

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE-SOURCE WITHOUT COMPETITION. In accordance with Department of Interior Guidance (505 DM 2), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Southwest Region hereby provides notice of its intent to make a single-source award expected to be between $600,000.00 and $800,000.00 to the Playa Lakes Joint Venture under a multi-year cooperative agreement (01/01/2012 to 12/31/2016) for facilitating the base operations, i.e., core support staff and activities/functions, for the Playa Lakes Joint Venture migratory bird conservation partnership. The base operations will be consistent with the direction given by the Management Board for the Playa Lakes Joint Venture partnership. The period of performance for the award will be for the period of January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. Any funding awarded to support base operations of the Playa Lakes Joint Venture partnership beyond December 31, 2014, will be subject to the availability of appropriations authorized by law and administratively allocated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
