11th Annual Aaina: South Asian Women's Festival

Tasveer will organize the 11th annual Aaina: South Asian Women's Focus festival which will be held at the Seattle Asian Art Museum located at 1400 E Prospect St on April 22-24, 2016. Aaina, which in Urdu/Hindi means mirror, celebrates the artistic and activist work of and about South Asian women and its community. This will be done through films, visual art, performance art, conversations and much more, all aimed at highlighting the issues relevant to South Asians.
