Northwest Folklife
Northwest Folklife (NWFL) seeks a $50,000 grant to support the 53rd Annual Northwest Folklife Festival in 2024. In late 2023, NWFL will begin planning for the Festival with the help of 60 Community Coordinators, who ensure the Festival is genuinely by the people, for the people. On May 24th, the four-day Festival will begin at the Seattle Center, the region's cultural hub with acres of green space, presenting spaces, and waterworks, over Memorial Day weekend. Aligned with the objective of inclusivity, the festival will be free and open to all public members.
