About This Grant
Say Yes! is a free and open to the public, community-centered visioning experience created to empower Black women in Seattle to reclaim their time, energy, and joy. The event will be on December 28, 2025, at McKinney Center located at 120 S. Jackson Street, Seattle, WA 98144. This gathering offers a safe and affirming space to pause, dream, and declare what’s next through storytelling, reflection, and creative visioning. Participants are guided to say “yes” to themselves, their healing, and their power while connecting with other women committed to growth and collective thriving. Each woman will leave with a personalized vision board — a visual map to guide her intentions, goals, and well-being throughout 2026. By nurturing self-worth and connection, Say Yes! strengthens the foundation for Black women to lead, create, and live with purpose and joy, that will ripple empowerment throughout their families and neighborhoods.
