Cascade P-Patch Improvements and Gardener Support Fund
About This Grant
The Cascade P-Patch, located at 310 Minor Ave N is a cherished community garden in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. With this funding the gardeners at the Cascade P-Patch will complete critical garden improvements including repairing the boundary fencing, upgrading the water infrastructure, restoring the shed lighting, and planting common areas with flowering/ fruiting perennials. We also plan to commission a mural by a local Seattle artist on our garden shed to celebrate the creativity of our diverse neighborhood and foster community pride. Additionally, this support will help us procure shared tools and gardening supplies, ensuring that all community members regardless of experience or income have the resources they need to grow successfully and participate fully in a vibrant, inclusive community space. This project will be completed by 4/30/26.
