About This Grant
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Community Blessings will host our annual Harvest Festival located at 5279 Rainier Ave S—a free intergenerational gathering designed to nurture joy, nourishment, and connection. The afternoon will feature a free hot meal, fresh produce for families to take home, and 100 care totes stocked with hygiene items, home disinfectants, winter essentials (hats, gloves, socks), paper goods, and more. Children will enjoy candy bags and games, and all attendees can connect with trusted partners, local banks, nonprofits, and clinics—offering on-site Narcan distribution, sharing senior services, health resources, and utility discount information. This event will help reduce food insecurity, increase safety and access to care, and strengthen community bonds at a time when they are most needed. This project will be completed by November 30, 2025.
