New Voices at the Volunteer Park Amphitheater
About This Grant
Allied Arts Foundation, (AAF), will present 6 free and open-to-the-public outdoor performances by multicultural emerging and up-and-coming local artists during July and August 2022 at the Volunteer Park Amphitheater located at 1247 15th Ave E. This is a rare opportunity to present a series of free public performances by piggy-backing onto an existing production. We are partnering with Volunteer Park Trust, which is producing their Summer Series at the Amphitheater, and will sponsor New Voices at the Volunteer Park Amphitheater. Funds from this Small Sparks will help pay the artist fees for six opening acts ($500 x 6) who will present shorts sets, each performing as opening acts for bigger name bands. This series will help AAF promote opportunities for artists, give back to the people of Seattle, and fulfill our mission to the support the arts. 18,000 people are expected to attend. This project will be completed by September 30, 2022.
