The 49th Avenue Southwest Neighborhood Group will participate in the National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6. The event activities will take place at 4047 49th Avenue SW between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. During the community barbeque packets containing information on crime prevention and emergency preparedness will be distributed. Activities include games, a balloon artist and face painting. A block watch list will also be created.
