About This Grant
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) and Urban ArtWorks will recruit and organize Yesler Terrace youth to create a community mural on the back wall of the Yesler Terrace Community Center, 917 E Yesler Way. Youth will gather mural themes from the Yesler Terrace Community Council and other community groups. They will prepare the mural by the end of the summer. A community celebration of the mural will be held at the Yesler Terrace Park grand opening in October 2018.
