About This Grant

This event will be a one-night outdoor gallery space during the May 12th Ballard ArtWalk in Bergen Place Park 5420 22nd Avenue NW. It will be a tented event due to temperamental weather and will provide one musical act and 5-10 visual artists displaying their work. A successful event will create a space that temporarily activates the park and also provides a stage for some of the community's cultural assets. It is a small project with a lot of heart. Local creatives come to sell their art, the music draws in passersby, and the centralized park is temporarily activated to be a vibrant cultural hub for the night. The project will be completed by June 29, 2018.
