The Parent Training Leadership Initiative Pilot Project (PTLI) located at 7050 32nd Ave S on the New Holly Campus will host a year long training program for East African parents starting December 2018 thru September 2019. This pilot project will cover issues such as culture, citizenship, racism, poverty, and diversity. The aim of the program is to engage, educate and to empower the East African community.

East African Community Services

The East African Community Services will be hosting "Family Fun Nights & Bun, Shaah & Sheeko": Starting in July 2025 and ending June of 2026. The event will take place on the last Friday of each month at New Holly Gathering Hall located at 7054 32nd Ave S. The East African Gathering is a community-driven cultural initiative designed to foster intergenerational engagement, cultural preservation, and cross-cultural connections. Hosted at the SHA Gathering Hall at New Holly, these events will create a welcoming space where families, elders, and diverse community members can come together to celebrate East African traditions. The event is free and open to the public.
