28th and Hiram Neighborhood

Over the past 4 years, our neighborhood has worked hard to improve a right of way space. We would like to improve/maintain the area by installing mulch, new gravel, plants etc. Some of the funds to celebrate all that we have accomplished together with a community celebration. And we would also like to add artwork to a utility box at the park nearby.

28th and Hiram Neighborhood

On August 6th the neighborhod will gather for a Night Out event at Virgil Flaim Park located at 2700 NE 123rd Street beginning at 5:30 p.m. This gathering will increase community connectedness and safety. This project will be completed by September 30, 2019.

28th and Hiram Neighborhood

The 28th & Hiram Neighborhood will work together as neighbors to improve and activate the right of way on 28th Ave NE between 120th and 121st Ave NE. Our hope is to beautify the space, increase safety of the neighborhood through environmental design, and to build camaraderie amongst the neighbors. We will clean up the right of way, install raised bed plantings, and wrap two utility boxes with artwork. This project will be completed by September 30, 2022.
